Prism Cement hosted a special lecture on "Corporate Communication and Corporate Social Responsibility" Prism Cement proudly organised a special lecture on "Corporate Communication and Corporate Social Responsibility" at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, featuring Mr. Devendra Mishra, AGM, Public Relations & CSR Head at Prism Johnson Limited’s Cement Division, as the keynote speaker. Mr. Mishra shared insights into the evolution of public relations in India since the 1940s-50s, highlighting its growing role in building credibility and reputation for corporates and governments alike. Emphasising PR as a powerful tool for creating a strong corporate image, he outlined the importance of effective communication, media relations and leveraging digital platforms for shaping perceptions. He also shed light on the vast opportunities within the field of CSR, underlining its significance as a corporate responsibility. The session, introduced by Dr. Sandeep Bhatt, Campus Coordinator, also celebrated the launch of the "IT World Hub" startup by BCA 5th-semester students under the "Local for Vocal" initiative. The launch, officiated by Mr. Mishra and Dr. Bhatt, marked a step forward in promoting self-employment and entrepreneurship among students. Faculty members, including Dr. Kapil Dev Prajapati and others, along with students, enthusiastically participated.
